My Studio

One of my favorite places to be is in my studio. It is the renovated attic above our garage. This is where I work. The small wooden art desk to the right is an art desk I used as a child. My parents gave it to me for Christmas one year and it was one of my best gifts, ever! I passed it down to my daughter for Christmas when she was in grade school. Behind the desk is one of my built in book shelves. There is another one on the other side of the window, too but I still need more!

To the right and left sides of my attic stairs are my flat files built into the wall. I LOVE my flat files! This is where I store many of my supplies and artwork. Otherwise, I'd have stuff all over the floor.

Here I am working with one of my favorite tools, my Wacom Cintiq. I do all of my digital art on it. I LOVE it!! I also make art using real brush and paper as well. I enjoy going back and forth on projects from digital to traditional and sometimes I use both on the same piece. The possibilities are endless!
